How To Change The Position Of The Content Placeholder

Overview

The post content placeholder is a fixed element that represents where content will be placed in all the posts. You can change its position on the page in Layout Mode. You can change the content of it in individual posts in Post Mode.


There are two ways of changing the position of the placeholder.


Change padding settings

  1. Click Blog from the left menu panel

  2. Click Edit Layout to open Layout Mode

  3. Right-click on the post placeholder to open the post placeholder menu

  4. Select the container to work with: row, column, main row, main column

  5. The Design Editor menu will open automatically

  6. Change the spacing settings to set the placeholder on the page

Add columns and rows

    1. Click Blog from the left menu panel

    2. Click Edit Layout to open Layout Mode

    3. Right-click on the row that contains the placeholder to open the context menu

    4. Choose add column or row: add adjacent, above or below

    5. Click done

Considerations

  • You cannot delete, hide on device or copy and paste the placeholder nor the column/row containing it.

  • For changes in Post Mode to be visible online, you must republish the post.

  • For changes in Layout Mode to be visible online, you must republish the site.
